About

Welcome to all parents and soon-to-be -daddies & mommies,

We are people who do everything about scan, baby ultrasound scan!!

This blog is especially dedicated for all parents. Every now and then, we do get questions from parents or we do actually realise that many parents are not aware of when is the right time to do the scanwhat doctor are scanning,  what is the purpose for this and that scan, etc & etc…

Here, we provide you with more in depth explanations for the baby scan and some helpful links and websites to guide you through the whole pregnancy period. Of course we do hope the whole pregnancy would be a good and memorable period for your family without any hiccups; nonetheless sometimes we really couldn’t avoid tragedy from happening.

Hence, we are here to provide more information for parents in case, just in case they were told something went wrong about the pregnancy, they would have more access for information and try to go for second opinion before they take some real actions.

Pregnancy, the growth of baby can be broadly divided into 3 stages:

1. First Trimester        ( 0-12   weeks)
2. Second Trimester  (13-27  weeks)
3. Third Trimester      (28-42 weeks)

Each and every trimester, baby has its own emotional and physical growing changes and therefore at least one scan per trimester is usually recommended. As you would have guessed correctly, in each and every of these scans, different parts and organs of the baby would be focused to make sure every part of baby is growing progressively according to expected date.

If you are one of the soon-to-be-parents, or actually someone who really interested in what’s been discussed in this blog, stay tuned for updates and click on to respective links to explore more. Enjoy & we welcome anyone of you to share if you have any constructive comments at all!!

P/S:  Bear in mind, although ultrasound can provide very valuable information about pregnancies and can detect many abnormalities in baby, it cannot give a definite answer to every problem on every occasion. We are here therefore to give our best effort  discussing different cases, providing more information and we welcome our readers to give feedback and or question anything at all in our shared information.

*Even in the best hands, a small percentage of anomalies can remain unremarkable, thus it cannot guarantee that a baby will be normal in every details in every cases.*

Thank you.
