1st Trimester Scan (RM 50) :
- Also called NT (nuchal translucency) Scan, or Down Scan.
- To check baby heart rate.
- To check placenta (uri) position and baby current position.
- To check baby nasal bone (tulang hidung).
- To check nuchal translucency (thickness of skin at neck area)
- To suspect for Down Syndrome.
- 1 CD, 1 baby picture printout & 1 baby growth report printout.
- RECOMMENDED SCAN PERIOD: Anytime 12 weeks - 14 weeks.
- Scan time duration: 20-30 mins.
2D Growth Scan (RM 80) :
- To check baby growing at:
18 weeks - 28 weeks: Called 2nd Trimester/ 2D Growth Scan.
29 weeks - 37 weeks: Called 3rd Trimester/ Near Term Scan. - To check baby heart rate
- To measure baby head, body, hands and legs will be measured (BPD, HC, AC, FL, HUM).
- To check baby gender, and baby weight
- To check if baby's amniotic fluid (air ketuban) is enough.
- To check placenta (uri) position and baby current position.
- To check umbilical cord around baby neck (tali pusat tergulung di leher baby).
- This scan does not detect structural defect organ for baby (kecacatan organ).
- 1 CD, 1 baby picture printout & 1 baby growth report printout.
- RECOMMENDED SCAN PERIOD: Anytime 18 weeks - 37 weeks.
- Scan time duration: 20-30 mins.
Baby 3D 4D Scan (RM 100) : - Includes everything done in 2D Growth Scan.
- Scan 3D (pictures), and 4D (short video clips) for baby face to leave parents a good memory for the entire pregnancy period.
- If enough amniotic fluid (more space for scan), 3D and 4D scan for gender, and limbs.
- This scan does not detect structural defect organ for baby (kecacatan organ).
- This scan is not a replacement for 2D Detailed Scan and/or routine check up with your personal O&G consultants.
- 1 CD, 1 (postcard quality) color baby 3D photo, & 1 baby growth report printout.
- RECOMMENDED SCAN PERIOD:
20 weeks - 23 weeks: Scan focus on baby face (may be skinny) and motions (yawning, kicking, etc.)
24 weeks - 28 weeks: Scan focus on baby face, gender and motions.
29 weeks and above: Scan focus on face, gender (if enough space), may not see baby face*
* If baby does not showing the face, parents may consider to revert back to 2D Growth scan or reschedule for another 3D 4D scan with no extra charges. - Scan time duration: 30-45 mins.
2D Detailed Scan (RM 150) : - Also called Structural Scan, or Normality Scan, or Anomalies Scan.
- Includes everything done in 2D Growth Scan.
- To detect structural defects for baby organs, including baby skull, brain, face, lips,spine (backbone), heart, hands, legs, fingers, toes, kidneys, liver, diaphragm, stomach, urinary bladder (pundi kencing).
- This scan does not include 3D 4D scan.
- This scan is able to detect up to 80% of structural abnormalities (kecacatan fizikal) in baby.
- This scan does not detect functional or chromosomal abnormalities such as irregular heart beat, Down Syndrome, Edward's Syndrome, and etc.
- 1 CD, 1 (postcard quality) baby 2D photo, & 1 baby growth report printout.
- RECOMMENDED SCAN PERIOD: Anytime 20 weeks - 24 weeks.
- Scan time duration: 30-45 mins.
3D 4D Scan + 2D Detailed Scan (RM 200) : - Includes everything done in 2D Growth Scan.
- Includes everything done in 3D 4D Scan.
- Includes everything done in 2D Detailed Scan.
- This scan is able to detect up to 80% of structural abnormalities (kecacatan fizikal) in baby.
- This scan does not detect functional or chromosomal abnormalities such as irregular heart beat, Down Syndrome, Edward's Syndrome, and etc.
- 1 CD, 2 (postcard quality) baby 3D photo, & 1 baby growth report printout.
- RECOMMENDED SCAN PERIOD: Anytime 20 weeks - 24 weeks.
- Scan time duration: 40-60 mins.
This is the most common ultrasound technique used during pregnancy. The technician holds a wand shaped transducer and rubs it over the stomach to produce 2D image of the baby. In case any problem is analysed, the technician may perform an advanced ultrasound.
